How To Sign Out Of iCloud Using iPhone/iPad Running iOS 10.3 Or Later

NeweriOS versions including iOS 10.3 and later make it a bit different to sign out of your iCloud account. It now involves a new banner for Apple ID as well. Here are the steps you need to follow.

1. Open Settings app on iPhone/iPad
2. Tap on Apple ID banner right on top of screen
3. Now scroll down to bottom and tap on Sign Out
4. Tap on Sign Out of iCloud if you’re using different accounts to access iCloud and iTunes and the App Stores. But if you are not then proceed to the next step
5. You will be asked to provide iCloud Apple ID password here, Enter it when prompted
6. Tap on Turn Off
7. Toggle switches for all the data that you’d like to be kept on your iOS device
8. Tap on Sign Out
9. Tap on Sign Out again for confirmation that you really want to get out of the account

How To Sign Out Of iCloud Using iPhone/iPad Running iOS 10.2.1 Or Earlier

In case, if you haven’t yet upgraded to the latest iOS versions and are still on iOS 10.2.1 or earlier, you will have to follow the steps given below for signing out of iCloud.

1. Open Settings app on iPhone/iPad
2. Tap on iCloud
3. Now scroll down to bottom and tap on Sign Out
4. Tap on Sign Out again
5. Tap on ‘Delete From My iPhone’
6. Tap on delete/keep for your iCloud calendars, reminders, Safari, and the contacts you have on your iOS device
7. Provide your iCloud password when prompted
8. Tap on Turn Off

How To Remotely Sign Out Of iCloud Account On All The Browsers And Devices

Here is a quick tip for remotely signing out of iCloud account on all the browsers and devices including Mac or Windows PC as well. Here are the steps you need to follow.

1. Go to iCloud.com and login using your Apple login credentials
2. Once you login, you’ll be taken to iCloud Home Screen where you can click Settings from left side in Keynote app
3. Click the Advanced option now
4. Here you will be able to see three options i.e. Look Me Up By Email, Reset Documents and Sign Out Everywhere, select Sign Out Everywhere
5. Now click Sign Out of All Browsers
6. This will show you a popup asking you for confirmation for signing out of your iCloud account on all the browsers
7. Confirm by clicking on the Sign Out button

This will sign you out of your iCloud account everywhere including all your devices on which you had logged in using the same Apple login credentials.
